This is so easy to make, there is no excuse for buying store brand varieties.
Ingredients
- 1 – 19oz can drained and rinsed garbanzo beans
- ¼ cup Tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- lemon juice to taste
Directions
- Blend all the ingredients together in a small food processor. Add additional olive oil if you desire a creamier texture.
- You can add some Roasted Red Peppers to the mix if you want Red Pepper Hummus
- Serve with cut up vegetables and/or whole grain pita bread
