Guacamole

This is my usual contribution to parties and I always get asked for the recipe. Avocados are full of the good fats you hear about. Anyone with Arthritis should eat avocado

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe Avocados
  • ½ Red Onion finely minced
  • 1 head cilantro finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • ¼ – ½ tsp Cumin (to taste)
  • ¼ – ½ tsp Chili Powder (to taste)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine all the ingredients and then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to really come together. Note: Using lime instead of lemon stops the avocado from oxidizing and turning brown for days, but if you are stuck, you can use lemon.
